By this time Matty's big toe was very sore. They had to call the fire brigade to help get it out, before it fell off. Matty was scared, he did not want to lose his big toe, he liked his big toe.
It did not take long for the firemen to get his big toe out of the plughole, they told him that it wouldn't fall off but would hurt for a few days.
Matty's parents told the firemen about Matty shouting for help.
"Hmmm," said the first fireman.
"We could use someone like that." said the second fireman.
